SELF:
What I learned this week...
I am not ready to police myself...
I had a busy busy weekend and did not take the time to track my points. I did however keep track of what I consumed, and went back Monday to do the tracking.
OOPS. I went way over. Not just my dailies, but my weekly.
And consequently, I gained a pound back.
UGH
But, it's ok... I learned the lesson, and I am still down 5.2 pounds.
And frankly, it's a kick in the pants that perhaps I needed. I did not like seeing that scale go up. I want it to go down. I want it to go down and keep going down until I am cute and skinny like I used to be...
What else did I learn?
I am not attractive at my current weight.
Don't get me wrong, I am pretty. Too pretty for weight to make me ugly. BUT, I was watching old home videos the other night from when my daughter was a baby and I was a size 4-6. I was about a 9 or 10 at that size. Now I am a solid 7. I don't like that. I feel like a 10, I have always carried myself as a 10, and I know I AM a ten. So, more incentive to get back to that 10 body and face to match my 10 self esteem!
HOUSE:
this is going SO Wonderfully! We have maintained what we have already finished, and I continue to organize and purge a little every day. I bought a scanner, and I have scanned in all of my archive filing. It is now all saved on an online server where it will be safe, and I have freed up room and clutter in the guest room/office. This week, I cleaned out and organized my freezer, dresser drawers and linens! 2 garbage bags of Goodwill Donations! And, taking my sisters advice I took a picture of everything donated, saving it in the online server as well. This will help me get the right amount when I itemize my tax deductions next year. I am also completely caught up on my laundry! YAYAYA!
So, what's left? the guest room... The scourge of my house! Now, I have been working on it a little at a time, and I am proud to announce that not only can I get in the door, but I can move around the room pretty well also! Once I get that room organized, I need to organize my shed and pantry (I want to line the shelves so they are cleaned easier). Once that is done, all that is left is to KEEP IT UP. Which, should be easy since this seems to be more habit now. YAYAYA!
GOD:
Happy to announce that this is going really well also! A couple of weeks ago I downloaded the Divine Mercy Chaplet and all of the Mysteries of the Rosary to my cell phone. I can do these on my commute now! Also, my mother pointed out, we now have a Catholic radio station in town. I discovered that during my commute to work they have an hour of apologetics (A theological science which has for its purpose the explanation and defence of the Christian religion). So, I listen to that as well! I can honestly say that at LEAST Monday- Friday, God gets a good solid hour or more of my time! SO HAPPY!
So, all in all I think things are going really well. I am feeling really in control and very good about the choices and decisions I am making.
